Club Penguin is giving out free gifts everyday until 25th December, one for members and one for non members. Today the gifts for December 23rd 2012 were revealed. Here take a look:
When you log into Club Penguin the 23rd December area will open
If you open the peach gift box which is for non-members, you get a Frost Bite Cavern (Background)! Click on 'Yes' to pick it up.
If you open the red gift box which is for members, you get a Make and Bake Kitchen (Furniture Item)! Click on 'Yes' to pick it up.

Answer: The Prehistoric is a event taking place on Club Penguin in January 2013 just a few days after the Holiday Party ends. The rooms will become prehistoric we already have sneak peeks of some of the rooms! Basically it is a party where everything becomes Prehistoric! Thanks for asking!
